This 2 day accelerated course (6 hours total)is the next step for DJ 101 students interested in learning more about mixing and club DJ’ing. The goal of the course is to get students comfortable with mixing and the creation of a 6 record club set/mixtape.

This course is ideal for DJ 101 students who want to work on their mixing skills and start to prepare real sets for a club or party.

Each student will be encouraged to put together a 4-6 record club/mixtape set to be recorded at the end of the term.

This 3-class intensive course is ideal for students interested in starting their career as a DJ, as well as for those serious about

picking up a new hobby.

The second half of this 2 week course has been designed to break down the fundamentals of scratching, and teach students the skills they need to advance their own individual styles. Instructors work with students on the technical side of scratching, along with each scratch’s application in rhythm. This course is perfect for those students interested in working on a battle set, improving their club presence, or performing scratch music.



Take the skills you learned in the DJ101 course to the next level. Learn the advanced aspects of mixing, blending, scratching,

and how to use tools such as Serato ScratchLive or Digital Turntables such as the Pioneer CDJ-800 to simplify your gigs.


This 2 day course is designed as a beginner’s crash course in digital DJ’ing. DDJ 101 will focus on teaching the basics of

Rane’s Serato ScratchLive software and is perfect for individuals who want to learn Serato basics or are looking to explore the options and advantages in digital DJ’ing. Students will spend

most of their time receiving hands-on training at their workstations.

This 2 day course (6 hours total) is the next step for DJ’s who have completed DDJ 101 or are already proficient with basic Serato principles and want to learn more advanced features.


The goal of DDJ 201 is to prepare students to perform at gigs

and clubs live with the Serato software. Students will learn how

to fully utilize all the features of Serato to help improve mixing/club sets.


At the end of the 2-week course, students will perform a set

using Serato and all the intermediate/advanced features that

are taught in this course. This course does require that students have a basic/intermediate understanding of mixing DJ concepts

•How to fully utilize the cue point functions

This 3-week course (9 hours total) is designed for the person

who wants to dive into beat production and remixing. Students

will spend the majority of the time receiving hands on training

with MIDI sequencing and digital audio editing software like Pro Tools, Cubase, Acid Pro and Sound Forge.


At the conclusion of the 3 weeks, each student will leave the

course with 2 complete beats and several production sequences

to be used for future beat making projects. This overview course

is ideal for students interested in starting their career in production, as well as for those interested in picking up a new hobby.

PRO 201 is the next step in developing your skills as a music producer and beatmaking artist. PRO 201 picks up right where

PRO 101 left off and focuses on teaching the basics of the Reason 4.0 software. In particular, the course will cover advanced midi sequencing, advanced audio editing, and the incorporation of the Reason software with Cubase software to make even more advanced and elaborate beats. PRO 201 is designed for individuals who have already completed PRO 101 or similar production experience.


Each student will leave the class with 2 complete beats that utilize the Cubase, Reason and Acid Pro programs. It's designed for the person who has already taken PRO 101 and wants to take his/her beat making skills to a higher level. PRO 201 will feature a much more in depth look into the Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason, Sound

Forge and Acid Pro programs. The course itself will cover

advanced sample editing, advanced audio and MIDI effects

routing, advanced mixing and automation techniques, advanced  song arrangement editing, the multi-tracking and mixing capabilities of using Reason through Cubase, and more.

Each student will leave the course with 1-2 beats fully utilizing all programs.
